Knaresborough, the newcomers to the league, didn’t pose too much of a problem with Bridge winning by 7 wickets. Having been set 171 with main wicket taker Tom Shorthouse 5 for 50 in 13 overs it was knocked off in 30 overs with opener Alex Liley 44 and Tom Shorthouse again with 62 not out. The 1st XI then entertained bottom placed Sessay at the Bridge and fielded latest Yorkshire recruit Will Bennison who signed professional terms in the week.
