Welcome to The Bridge

Welcome to Sheriff Hutton Bridge Cricket Club. Based 9 miles north, of York we are an ECB Clubmark accredited club and thriving member of the ECB Yorkshire Premier League. We promote a strong family feel providing the opportunity for cricket to be enjoyed across all age groups and maintaining the facilities across two grounds.

We have 4 senior teams playing on Saturdays. The 1st XI play in the Premier Division of the Yorkshire Premier League North which stages high quality cricket at the very top of the Yorkshire cricket pyramid. There are 4 other sections, Yorkshire Premier League South, Bradford League, North Yorkshire & South Durham League and Huddersfield League. All 5 sections form the ECB Yorkshire Premier League with the top team in each section competing for the Yorkshire Premier League Championship.

In 2025 we will also have a team competing in the York Vale Sunday League.

We have a wonderfully vibrant Junior Section welcoming boys and girls of all ages & abilities to play cricket. We run Junior Sides at U9, U11, U13 and U15 age groups as well as hosting Rockets Cricket for the very youngest. Girls of all ages are welcome to join our mixed junior sides or girls only sessions. 

The club promotes a high standard of cricket both on and off the field, and we are fortunate to have developed players to represent England and Yorkshire CCC at both Junior and Full Senior Level.
