SHBCC Junior Teams
SHBCC currently run 4 Junior teams, U9, U11, U13 & U15 in the York & District Junior League.

Summer coaching at the club commences mid April on Thursday evenings from 6.30pm to 8.00pm & runs through to mid July. Winter indoor coaching runs from January to March on Friday evenings 7.15pm to 8.15pm at the Galtres Centre in Easingwold.

The club is ECB Clubmark accredited & is fully committed to safeguarding & promoting the wellbeing of all our members. We take these issues seriously and we strive to provide a high quality & welcoming environment for all our young cricketers. We also have a Code of Conduct for members, guests & young people.

SHBCC Rockets
Here at SHBCC we run coaching for children for the ages of 4-8 years old, we call this ‘ROCKETS’

Rockets provides a fantastic first experience for children from the ages of 4-8 years old who wish to gain their first experience of fun filled cricket, they learn new skills and it focused around fun. The program is also focused on the children making new friends and having a great time.

The children will learn the fundamentals of all cricket skills, this includes hitting moving balls, bowling overarm, catching, fielding moving balls, team games which will also teach them the aspects of team work and much more.

We run sessions for a block period of 8 weeks on a Friday evening from 6.15pm to 7.15pm, this typically starts mid-May time.

The cost for this is £50 per child.

The child will require a plastic bat, please have the correct sized bat for the child’s height.
