1st XI lose out to York in T20 Final

T20

Having beaten York in the YPLN the day before the 1st XI where unable to repeat the dose in the T20 final on Sunday 25th July at Clifton Park.

Winning the toss and batting first the 1st XI posted 165-5 in their 20 overs build on contributions from Mark Fisher 35 from 36 balls, Tommy Hudson 48 (35 balls), Adam Fisher 47 (25 balls) and Freddie Collins 21 (14 balls). Unfortunately, they where unable to contain the York batsmen who reached the target in 17.5 overs for the loss of only one wicket.

Top effort lads.

As Adam commented after the game “BIG THANKS to all from the club who came to support today! Much appreciated by the players.

Shame we couldn’t get the trophy back to the club but big thanks to all those who have played Sunday pink ball cricket this year, we’ve had a good run in both comps!! Also huge thanks to Mary for washing kit, and Alice & Fiona for scoring!
