All change at the cricket club, details will be published after the AGM at the beginning of December. Suffice to say that age is giving way to the younger element who hopefully will have the stamina to push the club forward. They have exciting plans.

A big thank you to all who supported us with your Tesco shopping and the blue tokens, we managed to come third and will receive a much needed £500.

An even bigger thank you to the “Jumblies” and all who contributed to the sale last month. As a result, we will be the beneficiary of a very large cheque, again most welcome funds. There is a lot of hard work in putting together a jumble sale and we really do appreciate it. Special mention must go to our own Margaret Frank and Joan Armitage.

Still on funding, SHB 12 Days of Xmas Prize Draw which is now live!

All ticket purchases will support the upgrade of facilities at Sheriff Hutton Bridge CC for both players and members. We’re committed to reinvesting in the club, especially during these times where running costs are increasing every year. We’ll start drawing prizes on December 9th in the order shown, and we’ll share our winners on our socials.

On the cricket front, we wish Matthew Fisher all good fortune as he heads off to the UAE with England Lions.

We also wish all our young cricketers who have been selected for Regional Training Pathways the best of luck as they try to impress those who select the representative teams.
