SHBCC Dinner and Awards Evening
At the end of January SHBCC gathered together for their dinner and awards evening for the first time since 2019.
Since 2019 the merger with Sheriff Hutton was completed, creating a bigger, stronger club. This enabled the creation of a structured pathway for juniors into senior cricket. In the last three years, through the hard work of captains, coaches, parents and many others a path has been established for players from aged 4 or 5 right through to 1st XI. This is born out by the record number of junior players playing senior cricket, at all levels, last season and puts the club in good shape for the future.
The evening gave the club a great opportunity to reflect what has been achieved in the last three years and recognise performance in 2022, on and off the field, by the many people who give their time to make it possible for everyone to enjoy their cricket.
