New Signings

The club is excited to announce the addition of four new players and the return of Revaant Rakyan for 2025.

Ben Gill, a key member of our 2019 White Rose and league-winning side, returns after successful stints leading Malton to promotion and maintaining Scarborough’s YLN status. Ben is eager to rejoin the club he calls home.

Tom Shorthouse, who joins us from Sleaford. An experienced cricketer and leader who’s played the highest standard of UK Armed Forces cricket and in the ECB Lincs Prem as Sleaford captain for many years. We look forward to supporting Shorty’s new challenge in the Yorkshire league North and watch him ply his trade with bat and ball for The Bridge.

Clarke Doughney joins us from Scarborough. With a strong background in rep & YLN cricket, we’re excited to see him get going as he continues his development as a high quality all rounder.

And finally, Alex Wood, who joins from York CC. Alex is 20, a tall opening batter who has shown he can score big runs quickly. Fair to say he got pretty familiar with the surroundings at the Bridge last August with his 165. We look forward to welcoming him to the club when he returns from another winter working hard on his cricket down under.
