Tesco Community Grants – Vote for the Bridge!!

Sheriff Hutton Bridge are in the customer vote for a Tesco Community Grant!

Tesco works with community charity Groundwork to run its community funding scheme, which sees grants of up to £1,500, £1,000 and £500 awarded to local community projects.

Three groups in every community have been shortlisted to receive the cash award and Tesco customers will cast their vote using a token given to them at the check-out each time they shop in Tesco stores between 1st July and 30th September 2023 to decide how much funding we get.

The funding will help us achieve our goal of developing and enhancing junior cricket from age 4 through to under 17, increasing education, fitness, health and well being in both boys and girls through participation in playing cricket.

The six participating Tesco stores are located at Strensall, Goodramgate (York), Clifton Moor (York), Huntington (Huntington Road, Huntington, York), Gillygate (York) and Norton (Norton, Nr Malton).
